ekokrati.graph is free for academic research. If you are working on a published study, thesis, or research project at a university or research institution, you can apply for a free API key.

What qualifies

• University or research institute affiliation
• Published or in-progress research projects
• Student projects (BSc, MSc, PhD)
• Conservation planning work at non-profit organisations

What you get

Full access to ekokrati.graph — the same tool available to professional users. A rate limit applies to patch count per network during the current beta period; this limit will be raised as server capacity grows.

How to apply

Email research@ekokrati.se with:

• Your name and institutional affiliation
• A brief description of your project (2–3 sentences)
• How you expect to use ekokrati.graph

We aim to respond within a few working days.

Conditions

Academic access is personal and non-transferable. By using ekokrati.graph under academic access, you agree to the Terms of use and to acknowledge ekokrati in any publications that use results produced by the tool.

If your work is published, a brief note to us is appreciated — it helps us understand how the tool is used and informs future development.
