Terms of use
These terms apply to use of ekokrati.graph at app.ekokrati.se.
Permitted use
- Habitat connectivity analysis for research, conservation planning, and education
- Academic use under the academic access programme
- Professional use under a commercial licence
What is not permitted
- Sharing or reselling your API key
- Automated large-scale batch processing without prior agreement
- Using the service in a way that degrades performance for other users
Your data
What we store. When you run an analysis from a GeoPackage or shapefile, we keep the network geometry we parsed from it and the results we computed, linked to your API key, so that your saved networks stay available and can be re-run without uploading again. We do not keep your original uploaded file.
Job results are also cached for faster access for a short period (24 hours after completion, 7 days at most), separately from the stored analyses above.
How long we keep it. While your subscription is active, we keep your stored networks and analyses. After a subscription ends they remain available for 90 days, so you can export anything you still need. After that they may be deleted without further notice.
Free-tier accounts carry no retention promise: we do not undertake to keep stored networks and analyses for any particular period.
Getting your data out. You can export results at any time as GeoPackage, CSV, Excel,
PDF or LaTeX, and you keep the right to do so during the 90 days above. You can also
download everything on your account at once — every stored network as GeoPackage and
every analysis with its results, as a single archive with a manifest — from the Cases
page ("Export everything") or GET /account/export.
Deleting it. You can erase all of your stored networks and analyses at any time. Backups are purged on their own schedule, which the erasure confirmation tells you.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Service level
ekokrati.graph is provided on a best-effort basis during the current beta period. No uptime guarantees are made. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. Current service status is available at stats.uptimerobot.com/4PWbm2dU9O.
API keys
API keys are personal. Keep your key private — anyone with your key can submit jobs on your account. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact research@ekokrati.se to have it revoked and replaced.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
